Street resurfacing program to begin in Village

The Property Owners’ Association Department of Public Works has begun making preparations for the 2013 Street Resurfacing Program, which is set to begin mid-July. The POA Board of Directors approved a contract with Martin Marietta Materials for $1,427,178.11 that includes resurfacing of 30.23 miles of HSV roadways.

Mitchell Asphalt Seal Coating, which was also approved by the POA Board, is currently crack sealing along roadways in Hot Springs Village that are schedule for resurfacing.

Beginning next week, the Department of Public Works will be spraying grass along roadways to curb possible growth underneath asphalt.
