According to Lt. James "Corky" Martin of the Garland County Sheriff's Office, two deputies were suspeneded on excessive use of force concerns. Sgt. Scott West
received two weeks off without pay and Cpl. Kellar received four weeks off without
pay. Both are to attend a Use of Force refresher class, which has already been
scheduled.
Both officers were notified yesterday afternoon of their disciplinary actions.
