Historic Washington State Park will be hosting the first of the 2103 Music in the Park concert series June 15th beginning at 7:30 pm. The 1874 Courthouse lawn will be the setting for outstanding music and a time of summer fun. Bring your favorite lawn chair and sit back for an evening of entertainment absolutely FREE!
The Midnight Hurricanes began in 2000 and are centered around De Queen, Arkansas. They play a variety of modern Country Music and have played in various parts of the Ark-La-Tex region. Members include: Jimmy Carver, Lead Guitar/Vocals; Shane Carver, Bass Guitar and Drums; Glen Hawthorne, Drums; Rick Shaw, Keyboard, Lead Guitar/Vocals; Brett Lowery, Fiddle; and Scotty Floyd, Lead Vocals. They were a huge hit during the 2013 Jonquil Festival so come out and have a great time with the Midnight Hurricanes.
Activities in Washington begin with the Farmers Market at 7:30 AM and continue throughout the day with Family Fun Day activities free for all from 9:00AM to 4:30PM
Williams Tavern Restaurant will be open for supper with their famous home-cooking, and park tours are available at regular price from 8 to 5, if you would like to arrive early and explore.
