Soldier honored yesterday

Pursuant to federal law, Governor Beebe issued a proclamation declaring that the United States and Arkansas flags be flown at half-staff yesterday, Friday, November 11, in honor of Army Specialist Sarina N. Butcher, born and raised in Crossett. Butcher was killed in action earlier this month while on a resupply mission in Patkia Province, Afghanistan.
