Historic Washington State Park
Plans are in full swing for Historic Washington’s 2011 Christmas and Candlelight Celebrations held this year on Saturday December 3rd and Saturday December 10th. Historic Washington State Park will also be hosting open house both days in our 1874 Visitor Center Court House.
We invite you to begin your Washington experience with our “Christmas Past Open House” from 2 pm til 5 pm, including hot cider and holiday treats, as well as touring the beautiful 1874 Courthouse and upstairs courtroom. William’s Tavern Restaurant will be serving their famous holiday buffet as always, and beginning at 5:00 pm the sounds of Christmas will ring in the season throughout the park with choirs and carolers, some old and some new!
Luminaries will light your way as soon as dusk prevails, join us in the celebration.

Tickets for the full tour and programs are $10.00 plus tax for adults and $5.00 plus tax for children. You may purchase advance tickets at a discount, by calling the Southwest Arkansas Regional Archives Foundation at 870-983-2663. For more information about the event call the park at 870-982-2684.
