The Saline County Library will be the first stop in Santa’s world-wide adventure beginning at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13 at Boswell Library in Bryant. He will be there until 7 p.m. to visit with children of all ages.
Bring your camera, and Santa will allow you to have your picture made with him!
His next stop will be Thursday, Dec. 15 (2-7 p.m.) at Herzfeld Library in Benton. Every child that comes to visit Santa will receive a gift from him as well.
In addition, Christmas crafts and activities will be available for attendees.
Head of Children’s Services Jill Martin said Santa has made this stop in his journey for the past several years after a change in the weather patterns led to a new route that takes him directly over the area.
"We’re really excited to have Santa back year after year, and he’s always so thrilled to meet all the children that he has received letters from in the past."
More Christmas joy will fill the library from 4-5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15 at Boswell Library in Bryant as the Bryant High School Honeybees sing Christmas carols for patrons of all ages. Cookies and hot cocoa will also be available for attendees to enjoy, and, of course, singing along is strongly encouraged.
All children should be accompanied by an adult during library programming. For more information regarding these or other library events, call 778-4766 or 847-2166.
