Local artists in the WinterTide 2011 exhibition will give artist-talks about their artwork inspired by the coldest time of the year. Slim Christmas & Yuletide Carol (also known as Itinerant Locals, Zachary Smith & Cheryl Roorda) will be featured playing their wacky and zany renditions of favorite holiday songs. Slim (Zach) will forgo his tuba for the upright bass and Carol (Cheryl) will play her trusty accordion.
This is a country Christmas that can’t be missed. Attendees are welcomed to share their holiday and winter songs and stories during the open-mike session. This free event also includes The Fine Arts Centers member’s favorite holiday foods, wassail included. The evening begins at 6:30 PM at The Fine Arts Center of Hot Springs, 626 Central Avenue.
