Village hunt over for 2011

The 2011 Deer Management Hunt within Hot Springs Village has been completed.

The hunt, which was completed on October 8, harvested 118 deer, with 90 of those donated to Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry.

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission manages Hot Springs Village’s no-bag limit archery only urban hunts. Permits for the hunts were awarded in August ,2011 by the Game & Fish Commission after applicants successfully demonstrated their accuracy with a bow and arrow.
