Severe weather outlook
It still looks as though we will see at least a few severe thunderstorms in Arkansas from Sunday afternoon into Sunday night.
Current timing suggests that the storms will make it into western Arkansas Sunday afternoon, progress into the central part of the state Sunday evening, and then reach eastern Arkansas from late evening on into the hours after midnight. Instability looks to be best over the western half of the state, so chances for severe weather should be the best there. Damaging winds will be the most likely form of severe weather.
We should see widespread rainfall amounts in the 1 to 2 inch range, and a few totals could reach 3 inches or so.
The next message will be issued Saturday morning around 11:00 AM.
