Students from National Park Community College enjoyed an informative tour of
Bathhouse Row in Downtown Hot Springs recently. They began at the Fordyce
Visitor Center, with a short film about the history of Hot Springs. The students
then met Rose Cranson and Marque Haup at the Superior Bathhouse, the future site
of a brewery and distillery. Ms. Cranson visited with the students about her
plans while they toured the historic facility. The students were asked to
envision the brewery with a patio overlooking the Arlington lawn where they
could sit and sip a microbrew or enjoy a refreshing gelato. Their next stop was
the Museum of Contemporary Art, housed in the Ozark Bathhouse. The students
expressed amazement at the quality and depth of the collection.
