The First American Cookbook: A Dutch Oven Workshop 
November 3

11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

As the days get colder, it becomes more and more apparent that it’s time for a good hearty American food. Why not cook from the original American cookbook. Join the park interpreter as we cook several of these dishes from our Dutch Ovens and learn a little about our early American eats! Please register by November 1st.

Workshop Fee: $40 (Dutch oven included)

$9 per person (Dutch oven not included)

Davidsonville Community Picnic and Gift Shop Sale 
November 17

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Cooler weather and vibrant fall colors make it a perfect time for a beautiful fall picnic. Bring food, drinks, pets, and family out to Davidsonville Historic State Park for the community picnic on the Old Davidsonville Town Site. Tours of the new trail will be available and exciting programs offered throughout the day. Call park for more details.

All pets are welcome but must be on a leash.

Gift Shop Sale will be Nov.16 and 17. Come by and do some of your holiday shopping.
