The public is invited to an art exhibit opening
reception from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 17 at Hot Springs Memorial
Field, 525 Airport Road. This month’s exhibit features Traditional Art Guild
member Phyllis Anderson. This show will be on display until
mid-December.
Anderson, who lives in Mt. Ida,
has been a teacher and painter for many years. All of her paintings are done
from photos of places in Arkansas. The theme for her exhibit is, “The Seasons of
Arkansas.” Everyone is encouraged to come by and enjoy the delicious
refreshments and colorful paintings.
The
third Saturday of every month throughout the year, the airport will host a new
art exhibit by a Traditional Art Guild member,
beginning with an opening reception. For information on membership,
contact TAG President Joanne Kunath at 501-262-2953.
