Robotics team at National Park Technology Center

National Park Technology Center now has a robotics team. The 2012 NPTC Robotics team will be participating in the BEST (Boosting Engineering Science and Technology) competition held at UALR on November 3, 2012. The team is comprised of students from area high schools and is sponsored by NPTC’s Advertising and Graphic Design instructor, Jennifer Seward.


The members are: Jacqueline Aguilera, Medical Professions student from Hot Springs High School; Samuel Harvey, Advertising and Graphic Design student from Lake Hamilton High School; Tristan Walton, Advertising and Graphic Design student from Fountain Lake; Jacob Long, Woodworking student from Lakeside High School; Cody Morrison, Advertising and Graphic Design student from Lake Hamilton High School; Jacob Ledbetter, Machine Tool student from Lake Hamilton High School; Timothy Morrison, Machine Tool student from Lake Hamilton High School; Brandon Terry Advertising and Graphic Design student from Lake Hamilton High School; and Skyler Sharp Medical Professions student from  Lake Hamilton High School.

The competition is a full-day event held at the University of Arkansas Little Rock Field House from 9:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
