Based on a plan created by The
Arkansas Nature Conservancy in 2011, the Hot Springs Parks & Recreation and
Fire departments are working with Entergy Arkansas along with Equilibrium, a
non-profit organization that specializes in Arkansas ecosystem management, to
conduct a prescribed burn at Entergy Park, which, if weather permits, is
expected to occur sometime in the coming week. Details are provided below.
