The historic district commission will hold a public hearing at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 15 in the board chambers of city hall, 133 Convention Boulevard, to consider the following certificate of appropriateness requests:
HDC-11-0125-106 Prospect Avenue - Delaina Smith Card & Creative Decor- Certificate of appropriateness application request to demolish the 9' wide storefront located 106 Prospect Avenue due to severe water damage to roof and potential of roof failure.
HDC-11-0133-516 Central Avenue -The Tin Grizzly- Certificate of appropriateness application request to install new business identification signage on this storefront.
HDC-11-0138- 620 Central Avenue - Crystal Springs Mining Co.- Certificate of appropriateness request to modify storefront to add recessed alcove & entrance at original 1910 Location. No changes to existing signage requested.
HDC-11-0140 - 305 Pleasant Street - Certificate of appropriateness application request to re-roof this structure, replace broken windows and clean and repaint the structure.
HDC-11-0143- 124 Central Avenue - Fat Bottomed Girl’s Cupcake Shoppe- Certificate of appropriateness application request for new building identification signs.
HDC-11-0144- 115 B Central Avenue- Studio 10 - Certificate of appropriateness application request for after the fact signage approval at 115 B Central Avenue.
