This Sunday, August 7, at the Unitarian Universalist Village Church. Rabbi Eugene Levy of the Temple B’nai Israel in Little Rock will speak on “Prophets and Laws – Take two tablets and call me in the morning”. Levy has been Rabbi at Temple B’nai Israel since 1987.
Unitarian Universalism is a liberal religion born of the Jewish and Christian traditions that encourages a wide spectrum of beliefs, and encourages people to follow their own spiritual paths.
The UU Village Church is located at 403 Barcelona Rd. Meet-and-Greet at 9:30, service at 10:00.
Share-the-Plate recipient for August is the Paul Bewie Boys and Girls Club. With the start of school in a couple of weeks, they will be in need of support for their many after-school programs.
You are invited to attend brunch with Rabbi Levy at Tanner's on the Green at Granada Golf Course after the service. Those planning to come should call Robin Young at 922-5702 so we can have an approximate count.
