Charity Vance at Wildwood this weekend

Wildwood Park's Emerging Artists Series Presents Charity Vance "Live at Wildwood"
This Saturday! August 13th, 7pm. Doors open at 6:30 with special guests Half Priced Hearts.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, $50 VIP package - Includes autographed CD, poster and post-concert party with Charity!

Wildwood Park for the Arts welcomes Little Rock native, Charity Vance, for the second concert in its Emerging Artists Series on August 13, at 7 p.m., inside the Lucy Lockett Cabe Festival Theatre. Vance's concert with Half Priced Hearts will feature an electric indie pop mix of Vance’s original songwriting, as well as covers of pop icons.

As a young singer - songwriter, Vance, 18, has made a name for herself. In early 2010 (her most recent endeavor) Vance appeared on Season 9 of the hit FOX series American Idol. From age 7, she has performed each year at Riverfest, and has been featured in countless half-time performances at Verizon Arena. At age 9, Vance played the lead role in the musical Annie for a 50-show run with the Arkansas Repertory Theatre. Two years later Vance won the Radio Disney Superstar Kid Contest, and by age 11, was employed by Soundscapes doing voice-overs for radio commercials nationwide.

Doors will open on August 13, at 6:30 p.m. Vance will take the stage at 7pm. Tickets for the show can be purchased in advance at Cupcakes on Kavanaugh, Cupcakes on the Ridge, Vance Salon, online or by calling the box office at (501) 821-7275.
A special advanced ticket price of $15 is available until the day of show. Tickets are $20 at the door. There is also a limited VIP ticket available for $50 that includes an autographed CD and poster and backstage passes to a post-concert party.

Vance’s “Live at Wildwood” is the second among several performances in Wildwood’s Emerging Artists Series. Sponsors include Chip and Cindy Murphy, Arkansas Times, June Howes Williams Endowment, Alice 107.7 FM, the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Arkansas Arts Council (an agency of the Department of Arkansas Heritage).
