Compost in Hot Springs

Compost is again available at Hot Spring's compost facility, located at 320 Davidson Drive off of Shady Grove Road. The compost had been depleted for several weeks, due to high demand and inclement weather. The facility is open on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. The city’s compost combines sludge from the wastewater treatment plant with leaves and brush that residents deposit at the compost facility. The compost is offered free to those who load it themselves, or customers can pay to have their compost loaded for them. For more information, call the Compost Hotline, 321-6869.
