Valerie Kimbrough has asked Jane Parker to get three to six Heifer Club members to help her "man" the Heifer International booth at Earthday this Sunday, June 5 at the Hot Springs Transportation Depot. It's a community-wide event Heifer needs to be present to advocate for sustainable agricultural practices.
Parker needs to fill three one-hour shifts. She is working from 11 a.m. to noon, volunteers are needed from noon to 1 p.m., from 1 to 2 p.m. and from 2 to 3 p.m. If two want to take and hour, it might be more fun to have a friend along. Valerie Kimbrough will be there, bring the materials, etc.
Please step-up to this request. Parker realizes Sunday may be hard for some but encourages the one time only volunteer opportunity.
