Yesterday Jerry Van Dyke announced on KVRE radio that he will be bringing Neil Simon's The Sunshine Boys back to the RayLynn Theater toward the end of this month. His new partner in the comedy will be Tommy Smothers of the 1968 Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. The last time The Sunshine Boys was at the RayLynn Theater, Jack Iafrate was the straight man, now it will be Smothers.
The Sunshine Boys is about a retired vaudeville duo reuniting for a TV special, but they can't stand each other and comedy ensues.
The show runs from May 26 through June 1. The RayLynn Theater is at 701 Central avenue in Hot Springs.
For tickets call (501) 624-7469.
