Congressman Ross weighs in on Osama bin Laden death

U.S. Congressman Mike Ross of Prescott issued the following statement after President Obama announced that U.S. military and intelligence officials have killed Osama Bin Laden, the architect of the attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001.
Statement by U.S. Congressman Mike Ross:
“Osama Bin Laden, the mastermind behind the attacks on America on September 11, 2001 and many other attacks against our men and women in uniform and freedom loving people throughout the world, has been killed. Justice has been served for the thousands of families who lost loved ones in these terrorist attacks against America and its people. While this is a historic event in the defeat of Al-Qaida, we must remain vigilant as we continue to keep America safe and secure. I join every U.S. citizen in thanking President Obama, our Armed Forces and various intelligence agencies for the role they played in successfully carrying out this mission.”
A fifth generation Arkansan, Congressman Mike Ross of Prescott represents the Fourth Congressional District of Arkansas in the U.S. House of Representatives. Ross serves on the House Energy & Commerce Committee and serves as Vice President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Ross is also Co-Chair of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus, Co-Chair of the Second Amendment Task Force and Co-Chair of the Blue Dog Coalition, a group of fiscally conservative Democratic House members that advocates the principles of fiscal responsibility and government accountability.
