Arkansasbusiness.com reports, as of Friday, State Farm is reporting a total of 6,137 home and auto claims related to the recent storms that hit Arkansas.
That total includes 3,221 auto claims and 2,916 property and homeowners claims since April 19. Most of the claims have come from Vilonia and Hot Springs Village.
State Farm officials said claims for tornado, wind and hail damage are still coming in from the storms of April 25-26, and that the overall numbers are expected to increase significantly.
