Tonight is the grand opening of the Arkansas TheatreWorks season at the Central Theatre in downtown Hot Springs with the production Marilyn, Forever Blonde! starring Sunny Thompson. The show runs from May 4 through May 15. The Central Theatre is at 1008 Central Avenue. Showtime tonight is 7:30 p.m. Shows on Friday and Saturday are at 8 p.m. Matinees on Sunday are at 2 p.m.
Hairspray at The Rep in Little Rock, 601 Main Street. Show time 7 p.m. Tickets top out at $25 depending on seating. Advance tickets bought before opening night are $10 off A seats and $5 off B seats. This is the last week of the show.
