We’re kicking off our fall concert season with a dinner cabaret that you won’t want to miss! It features Hot Springs’ performers, Denise and Stephen Edds along with Denise’s talented vocal music students, “Soundwaves.” The event is Tuesday, September 14, beginning with a catered dinner followed by varied classical and popular musical selections at the Coronado Center, Hot Springs Village. Cocktails begin at 5 p.m. with dinner at 6. Call Sally at 501-922-2567 for ticket information. Tickets are $25 per person for the dinner/concert. SOME QUICK INFORMATION ABOUT THE ENTERTAINMENT: Since August of 1994, Denise Edds, B.M.E., Ouachita Baptist University, M.M.E., University of North Texas, has held the position of choral director and instructor of college music classes, private voice, music appreciation and public school music at National Park Community College, Hot Springs. Edds performs frequently as a soloist throughout the south with symphony orchestras and also in operas, oratorios, and recitals. She most recently made her solo debut at Carnegie Hall in New York City. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and the American Choral Directors Association. Joining Denise will be her equally talented spouse, Stephen, and her vocal jazz ensemble, “Soundwaves.”
