THA board cadidates

There are five qualified candidates in good standing set to run for the townhouse association board of directors.
Carolyn Cox of Valencia Courts, John Burnett of Arista Courts, Carl Foreman of Madrid Courts, Dale Milford of Guadalajara Courts and Robert Peterson of Valencia Courts have thrown their hats into the ring.
Chair of the nominations committee, Dot Ashley, has pledged a fair election that provides a level playing field for the candidates.
There is not enough time for a candidates forum this year. Information on each candidate will be sent out with the ballots on September 23. It will also appear on the website at http://www.hsvtha.com/ .
Ballots will be counted on October 29 for the board of directors election.
Ballots will be counted on October 8 for the Guadalajara Courts capital improvements special assessment.
The nominations committee counts the votes with the assistance of volunteers. The vote counting will be held in the meeting room at the THA building on Perralena Lane. The public is invited to observe the counting.
Envelope stuffing for the election ballots will take place on September 21, 22 and 23. Volunteers will be much appreciated.
The THA board will have three vacancies.
