This week, I laid a wreath at
the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington National Cemetery to honor our service
members, veterans, and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our
nation. It was an experience I’ll never forget.
Since the founding of our
nation, our military has remained ever ready to defend our freedoms. With
Veterans Day quickly approaching, I want to again thank all those who have put
their lives in harm's way to protect our families and our nation. On this day,
let us recommit to ensuring that our nation's commitment to our veterans
continues after their tour of duty ends.
