NPCC Honor Society recognized for achievements

The Alpha Beta Psi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at National Park Community College received special commendation during the recent Oklahoma/Arkansas Regional Convention for fulfilling all requirements to be named a "5 Star Chapter," the highest level possible.

The chapter also cohosted the Society's annual convention in Fayetteville and is recognized on the Society website at ptk.org.

NPCC Phi Theta Kappa student officers involved with this achievement are Tina Cooper, Anna Jackson, Tina Donoho, and April Barrett. Other PTK members who attended the convention and participated in cohosting activities are Jimmie Fite, Amanda Vaughn, Sarah Holt, and Brent Taylor.

Incoming and returning officers Brent Taylor, Tina Donoho, April Barrett, and Megan Pennington are working on this year’s college project, Relay for Life, and an academic Honors in Action topic as well as a variety of fundraising projects.
