POA general manager Scott Randall fired effective immediately

Scott R. Randall, General Manager of the Hot Springs Village Property Owners’ Association, was terminated under the terms of his Employment Agreement by a vote of the Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Board President, Jerry Kosoglow, stated, “Details of this termination, as with all personnel matters, will not be shared publicly.  Rest assured that Hot Springs Village is in a very strong financial position and anxious to continue its efforts to maintain amenities and services at the highest quality level in order to best serve our existing residents and property owners.” An executive recruiting firm will be retained by the Board to conduct a national search for a new general manager.  The Board expects this effort to take from four to six months.

Linda Mayhood, Assistant to the General Manager, will serve as Interim General Manager until a replacement is found.  Mayhood has worked for the POA for 34 years.  She has experience in all areas of the association, and with many special action committees.  The Board of Directors is confident she can effectively coordinate necessary day-to-day activities while working with the other Staff Directors in the interim.

  3. So many of us warned Kosoglow about Randall's sorted past, his gross negligence and incompetence that got him fired from his last job, but did Jerry listen - NO! Jerry needs to fire himself for doing such a injustice to HSV! Maybe Randall and Duck will relocate to anywhere else in the country! What a sham! Congrats Mr. Kosoglow to living up to all our expectation of being an incompetent arrogant idiot! Now if we could just get rid of Williams, White and all the other good ole boy long term do nothing cronies of the Board we'd have a chance to manage the Village like the real business that it is! The POA needs an enema - BIG TIME! Bye Bye Stevie - good luck finding another job! Your performance history is all over the internet, more so now, than ever!

  6. It has taken approximately 11 months to see two results that were needed long before now. (One retiring and one terminated....both should have been terminated in January). Now, with this behind, where is the justice for one lady that is long, long over due?

  7. Thanks to the incompetence of Leroy and the disgraceful behavior of Randall, Donna's murderer, Duck, walks free and frequently enjoys a beer with his cohorts at Patsy's. Pathetic! When we will ever have competent management at the POA?

  8. He still has cohorts around here? Not sure I understand how he had any in the beginning, let alone now. Still can't help but wonder if duck is innocent. Surely our law enforcement isn't this bad. Union county would have had this solved in no time!

  9. "Donna's murderer, Duck, walks free and frequently enjoys a beer with his cohorts at Patsy's". If I owned Patsy's and was a friend of Dawna's.......he would be barred, banned, whatever it took, but he would not come near my property.

  10. SO GLAD he's gone!! Duck is NOT innocent and our law enforcement IS that bad!! We still need some MAJOR changes. It is unfathomable that this murder has yet to be solved!!! He should NOT be walking free and definitely shouldn't be hanging out at Patsy's where Donna & her "friends" hung out. Seems like many people have just forgotten all about this. So proud of the young men her sons have become & pray that they will one day see justice done!!

  11. Got chief, chief retiring and randall's gone. Election next week. What about present sheriff, since our law enforcement is that bad. I wonder if Mr. Dunn would do a better job with this case? I know the village pd botched this case from the beginning, but the garland county sheriffs office needs to do some explaining, too. Did they botched what was left?

  12. Glad to see the house of cards is coming down. It's about time they got rid of that do nothing Steve White. When is the curtain coming down on the other do nothing and know nothing head of computers Charles Williams. It's way past time to clean house and get some capable staff on board. Time to make some intelligent staffing changes and hire someone that will actually contribute. It's about time that POA management and the board got their heads out of the sand and stopped the abuse. Wouldn't a few more key staff changes be a wonderful gift to the POA members? We can't afford to continue to pay salaries to do nothing people sitting around collecting checks and spending our money unwisely.
