Public works committee looking for new member

The Hot Springs Village Property Owners’ Association is soliciting interested applicants to fill an existing vacancy on its Public Works Committee.

The Public Works Committee is responsible for inspecting the condition of and monitoring the paving of named roads in Hot Springs Village; inspecting HSV buildings once a year; monitoring traffic safety and making recommendations for regulatory signs and speed limits; and performing other special projects related to air conditioning, utilities, and drainage structures as requested by the Public Works Director. 

The committee meets monthly on the Thursday following the Board of Directors’ Regular meeting at 9:30 a.m. at the Coronado Center. The next meeting is September 20.

The POA currently has 10 advisory committees: Architectural Control, Common Property & Forest, Food Service, Golf, Governmental Affairs, Lakes & Water, Public Works, Recreation, Research & Special Projects, and Trails.
