Village meeting regarding flood insurance

An informational meeting on FEMA and Lender flood insurance requirements has been set for Friday, Nov. 9 at 9:30 a.m. in the Ouachita Building, Ponce de Leon Center. Gary Ballard, Saline County Geographic Information Systems Administrator, will speak at the meeting, which is jointly sponsored by the Property Owners’ Association Governmental Affairs and Lakes and Water Committees. He will present information about flood insurance requirements and alternatives, along with qualifications for these alternatives.

The meeting will conclude with a question and answer time with Ballard and Janice Naven, Garland County Flood Plain Administrator.

While this meeting is open to all HSV residents, the topic matter will be directed particularly to those residing on lake front property.
