Arkansas Lottery news

For the second time in 23 days, the Arkansas-only Natural State Jackpot paid off big Saturday night.   When the winning numbers were drawn at 8 p.m., a $120,000 jackpot was won by an as-yet unidentified player at the Snack and Shop on Highway 270 in White Hall (Jefferson County).  The winner’s name will be revealed when he or she claims $120,000 at an Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center in Little Rock, Camden, Jonesboro, or Springdale.  All Snack and Shop players are urged to check their tickets against the five winning numbers, available at any retailer or on at myarkansaslottery.com.

The Natural State Jackpot’s $1 tickets first went on sale on August 27.  The first jackpot win was on September 13, with a $100,000 prize claimed by a Mountain Home player.   The Natural State Jackpot is sold exclusively in Arkansas, with very good odds of winning:  In addition to the two jackpots, Arkansas players have won an additional $240,000 in lower tier prizes.

The drawings are at 8 p.m. every night except Sunday.  If you want to play daily without repeated trips to the store, ask your retailer for extended-play NSJ tickets for up to 20 plays.  Just ask for a QUICKPICK or pick five numbers between 1 and 39.   It’s fun, it’s all-Arkansas, and it’s one dollar.
