A Flag Golf Tournament has been scheduled for Thursday, July
5, as part of Village Summer Fest, this year’s Fourth of July festivities, July
4-7, in Hot Springs Village.
The entry fee for the event, which will be held at DeSoto Golf
Course, is $10.00. Tee times begin at 7 a.m., available through Central Tee Time Reservations at 501-922-2858.
Participants must have a verifiable GHIN handicap. Prizes
will be awarded in men’s and women’s divisions. The number of places awarded
depends upon the number of entrants.
During the tournament, participants will play their own
ball, planting a flag wherever their ball lies when shooting even par including
handicap.
