Not just a job

After enduring almost a year of unemployment and job applications and rejections, I am happy to say I am starting two jobs this week. I will be the full-time girl Friday at KVRE radio in the Village and will help with fundraising for Arkansas TheareWorks in Hot Springs.
I will still keep up with the blog and manage to feed Lee at least a few times a week.

I am very excited about both jobs. I worked in radio many, many years ago and worked in arts development many years ago. It is fun and challenging to brush off my skills and see if they still work.
The blog now has over 25,000 hits and hopefully will continue to grow. Thanks to everyone that kept me going this past year. Unemployment is hard on the checkbook and the ego. You have time to treasure your friends and have plenty of time to make new friends.
I am looking forward this week to filling up my car with expensive gas, packing my lunch and sometimes my dinner and going to work.
