The HSV Animal Shelter is my only safe place until the Animal Welfare League finds me a forever family.
Where will I go if the shelter closes?
POA board budget cuts are targeting the HSV animal shelter. The Animal Welfare League has been asked to take over all shelter operations and primary funding responsibilities from the POA.
The AWL is holding a public information forum to present the proposal in detail on Monday, March 14 at 10 a.m. at the Ouachita room in the Ponce de Leon Center.
All Village residents are encouraged to come to the meeting to hear the options for the future of your Village animal shelter.
