On November 6 there will be a Gardening 101 and Docent Training seminar free to all members of Garvan Woodland Gardens.
The class is in the Magnolia Room from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
The Gardens’ resident landscape architect will lead a discussion about chrysanthemums, everyone’s favorite fall bloom. He will discuss the different types and colors and how to use them as an accent in home landscapes. The morning session will conclude with a walk in the Gardens, as Byers discusses the fall landscape.
The presentation is free to Garden members and previously registered volunteers. Regular Garden admission applies to non-members. Advance reservations are recommended. Call the administration office at 501-262-9300 or 800-366-4664.
