Ticket sales for the Animal Welfare League's Benefit Drawing for the shelter animals and services to pets in need in HSV and surrounding communities are underway. This annual fund-raising drive helps the League fund adoption services for homeless companion animals, offer subsidized spay and neuter clinics throughout the year; provide humane education materials to our area schools and offer financial assistance to pet owners who are struggling with pets' medical needs but who have scarce resources to feed and otherwise care for them.
Lucky ticket holders will take home great cash prizes and valuable gift certificates including the following.
First Prize...........$500 Cash!
Second Prize.....$350 Cash!
Third Prize..........$150 Cash!
Fourth Prizes......$100 Gift Certificates, one each from Cranford's east and west.
Fifth Prize............One year membership to Garvan Gardens.
More winning tickets will be drawn for dining certificates at area restaurants.
All prizes will be awarded at the Coronado Center Fall Arts and Crafts Fair on November 20.
You don’t need to be present to win.
Purchase tickets in books of six for $5.00 or individually for $1.00 each at Barkansas Pet Supply on Hwy. 7, at the HSV Animal Shelter from 10a.m. to 3p.m. Monday through Saturday.
