Annie auditions

LEEPIN’ LIZARDS! The Village Players announce the dates for auditions for the fall production of the musical ANNIE. Auditions are at the Woodlands auditorium, on Saturday and Sunday, September 7 and 8 from 1 to 5 p.m., with late auditions and call backs on Monday September 9, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

The producer is Phil Ellis and Roger Cannell is the director. Music director is Randy Lusk and Cathey Cady is the choreographer. The cast numbers about 35. The principal characters are:  Annie, eight orphans, Daddy Warbucks, Grace Farrell-secretary, Miss Hannigan-orphanage director, Rooster-con man, Lily-girl friend, Bert Healy-radio personality, President Roosevelt, and an ensemble of numerous speaking, singing, and dancing parts.

Please do not wear flip-flops, backless shoes, or large sole athletic shoes. Audition times may be lengthy.

Productions dates for ANNIE will be November 21, 22, 23, at 7 p.m. with Sunday November 24, a matinee at 2 p.m.
