Estell charged in Hot Springs Bank and Trust armed robbery

Derrick Estell, the subject of the massive manhunt in Hot Springs last week, has been charged with alleged aggravated robbery in connection with the March 1 armed robbery of Hot Springs Bank and Trust across from the west gate of Hot Springs Village.

The aggravated robbery charge is punishable by up to life in prison. Theft by receiving is punishable by up to ten years in prison. Estell was also charged with alleged fleeing and three counts of possession of a firearm. Each count carries a sentence of up to six years in prison.

There may be Federal charges coming in the Hot Springs Bank and Trust aggravated robbery.
