Madelyn Young book signing this Friday

Several weeks ago, Karen Jordan, who's been doing a great job with all our Village Writers' publicity, submitted a wonderful press release announcing my new book, Views from an Empty Nest.  She told about my book-signing party scheduled for this coming Friday, April 20, at Presbyterian Kirk in the Pines.  We're holding the event downstairs in Hoffius Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

The Hot Springs Sentinel-Record published a short version of the article on Friday, April 6.  I appreciated Jeff Smith getting it into the paper so quickly.

 

Karen submitted the press release to the Village Voice too.  However, it did not appear in last week's edition, and it didn't make it into this week's paper, either. 

 

I will attach Karen's article to this email so you can read it, if you'd like to do that.  She sent it with my author photo and a picture of my book cover too.
